scared off another cts-v owner

Hi guys, new here, but not new to the caddy forums....

I'm not fully understanding the problem here with GM and cadillac...why does a company make a great car thats so well balanced, yet makes a huge mistake by not making the rear strong enough to hold its own power?!? I've been on 3 different ctsv forums, and this problem seems to be VERY serious, with numerous v owners having to replace the diff multiple times...i've been waiting for 2 long years for GM to fix this problem, and ive waited long enough...not only has cadillac scared off many of their customers...its costing them money to constantly replace diffs..why GM?? why?? why would you be stupid enough to randomly throw a 400hp motor on a stock cts rear end? was the car rushed? i'm pretty positive that if GM didnt make that mistake, the ctsv demand would have been through the roof..if ANYONE has any knowledge of GM or anyone working on a legit fix to this problem please post here..and i'm not talking about the 06' "stronger" diff...because those are whining also, and if its whining its only a matter of time

cts-v...the greatest car with the worst diff ever

I agree with you. I suspect it has something to do with the bean counters...

Did they upgrade the rear diff for the 06's and up?
