DollarBill Black is by far the prettiest color on a car...........when its clean. Keeping it that way is the bitch.

I've owned 2 black cars in my life and I said I'd never own another one, however, who knows what will come over me when I get to the dealership.

Speaking of dealerships, Mr T, I'll be visiting the DFW area and would be interested in your opinion of the one you bought you car from.

Likewise, anyone else with similar info on dealerships in the DFW area would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ziplicon Tuesday Guess I must be old school but WHAT are you guys thinking with the black wheels? Maybe it's a fad like in the 80's when everything went monochromatic....absolutely no offense intended here but they make the car look second hand or owned by a kid. Chrome or the factory wheels look best....especially on black...in a year or two, the black will just look boring.....the car's paint looks great though.

Widening your wheels?

I am local to the DFW area also. Where can you get your wheels widened? I've never heard of this and am concerned about the wheels still being balanced and 'true'. Also, what tire size will you run in the rear once you have the 9.25 width? 275x ? x18

Thanks!

Here in Dallas I was quoted $200 per wheel to widen.

stkshkr The 275's will fit and work well without widening the wheel, save your money unless you're going to go with something bigger

torchredfrc The black wheels look really nice. I wonder how they would look on a light platinum car.

Boose I think the Black wheels look vicious. I am debating on doing that to my Light Platinum CTS-V, but I think it looks much better on the Black car.

I would love to see better pics of them as well!!!!
The only success I've had is going to google.com and searching for images of wheels with an anthracite coat and silver coat.

There are pics of V's with the stockers powdercoated black.
