I bought a Volant and a Cat Back Magnaflow system from David at Premier Trucks and am very happy with both. As for the questions concerning the dyno - this is a cold air intake not an air box. It is the only one I am aware of that will produce a positive pressure in the box at speed. So, unless the dyno in question was operated with a fan throwing tons of air at the front of the vehicle the results are useless. I have never seen a dyno with a fan that could produce wind in the range that simulates real driving. I never dyno tune my cars, I always go to a tuner and hook up his stuff to the ODB port and we go off for all kinds of driving. JMHO |

David, I'm curious how your dyno results have compared to the manufactuers claims. I agree that dynos are not consistant because the environment (weather/altitude/humidity) can change but then again, correction factors are supposed to make dyno numbers comparable. Either way, I'm still interested in seeing how your dyno compares to the manufacturer. Also, what did the CTS-V baseline dyno at? Matt |

Hello 10secvette, We have had many happy CTS-V owners with this kit on their vehicle. Last time I checked Dyno's were very particular. Their are so many factors while dynoing a car or a product. We have dynoed a Kit here in AZ and got very good results and that was not even with a tune. If you dont like the product thats fine, but dont knock it cause your dyno did not have good results. I can guarantee if you dyno this kit in 5 different states with 5 different cars, that you would get 5 different results. So why do your results that you claim you got are etched in stone and no one could ever get a better # than that. That is the only BS in your claim. Where is your dyno sheet?? Where are the before and after dyno sheet's?? P.S I am sure your stock box with a small paper filter and restrictive intake tube provided better results. Thanks, David |

Cadillac CTS-V is a limited Vehicle, but Volant didn't limit the options of this cold Air Intake. This air box pulls fresh air from behind the headlight for the coolest and freshest air possible. The CTS-V Air duct is 3.75" all the way through and pulls in gains of up to 16HP. This application is best installed completely assembled Please Pm, Email, Or Call For Your V-Series Member Price. Thanks, David Info@premiertruckaccessories.com Toll Free # 888-345-4782 B.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I installed and tuned for the Volant intake, Max gain was 4 rwhp. Modded the stock box and got 7 rwhp. Volant is a pice of junk. Shame on them for selling it!! |
