Bluetooth in V!

All:

Recently had the Motorola Bluetooth wireless kit installed in my V. It cost $379 for the premium kit with installation but it is worth every cent. I had the head unit (used for receiving and placing calls) placed in the ash tray and the microphone mounted on the rear view mirror. When the car starts, the bluetooth conntection is automatically made. It's just like the good ol' days of car phones with the handsfree option. I can drive, eat and talk at the same time without having a wireless boom in my face.

Install a wide band oxygen sensor in place of a stock sensor:

When the phone rings, I have to use the old fashion method of turning down the volume with my hands. I know, its so September 10th but I have managed to muster up the energy each time so far. I got the device and had it installed at Best Buy.

Hey Guys,

I know this is an old post, but I just purchased a bluetooth system that works through the OnStar system. It seems pretty easy to install and it cost $279. Plug and play.

I can't post the site, but you can google. CoSTAR Tech!

Check it out!!

CoStar unit turns out to not be that great...only issue is the echo on the callers phone.

I have heard that the Galaxy 1000 is the best unit out there! Spoke to Fred (who sells them) he said you can't go wrong!

Only good things to say on other forums!
