Post pics! I've only seen one Red V in person. I like the color!

What mods are you considering?

2005 CTS-V - repurchased by GM as a lemon

Install a wide band oxygen sensor in place of a stock sensor:

I'll post a picture tomorrow.

I'm considering lowering springs, but prefer coil-overs. Also a CAI, Exhaust, a wing and wheels in no specific order.

Which exhaust is most preferred by members?

I've heard a few cars with the Magnaflow in person. It sounds really nice. I have a Borla exhaust on my C5 and love the way it makes the LS1 sound. If I were purchasing for a V I think I would go with the Borla but then again, I like it loud.

Being new to this car and all is the Borla a direct bolt-on? What kinda of power increases can I expect versus the Corsa cat-back?

BTW, this forum kills that other one Only thing lacking is the traffic, but I'm here to stay WOOT!!!

Yeah, I'm not quite sure what to do about the traffic. The other forum won't let me post links on it to this one. The forum software and usability is certainly better here.

The Borla/Corsa/et all exhausts should all be direct bolt on but I don't know if I could say with any confidence that you would gain any hp with a cat back system. If, however, you went with a long tube header setup you would get some added hp. I havn't seen any headers yet for the V though.

If you're in Dallas, swing by LG Motorsports and see if they have any cat back experience with the V. LG makes an excellent long tube header setup for the C5/C6 Corvette.

Don't give up hope

Thanks for the info, I'll look them up.

I hear a lot of hype about the Kooks headers.

Anybody here tried those?
