'07 CTS-V question

Let me preface this with the admonition that I KNOW this question is extremely lame.

*cringe* Will the '07 come with an automatic transmission option? My wife has categorically eliminated the possibility of my next car being one that she can't drive (she can't drive a stick).

I want a CTS-V so bad I can taste it!

At this point I think you will simply have to teach her to drive a stick. That's what I did!

V series should be stick only.
Leave the automatics for those poser SRT-8 Chrystler guys.

Although, maybe you can get justification from your wife to move up to the STS-V, its automatic.

I think the only auto transmission I would want to see go into a V would have to be a F1 transmission (not really a auto though). The paddle shifters GM put into the C6 leave a lot to be desired.

On the one hand, I can see why some people want to get away from the manual transmission but from a pure sport and feeling like you're driving perspecive I think it's invaluable!

I think the only reason women shy away from manual vehicle is a fear of stalling in public. I must admit, when I got my first stick I tried to drive on less busy streets and I coasted through my fair share of stop signs. I'm stickin by what I said before though, you gotta teach the lady to drive a standard!
