2009 CTS-V responsiveness

Hello, I have a 2009 CTS-V, automatic. Best car I have ever owned. The only thing that bothers me is that the car is not very responsive in the 40-50 mph range unless I really punch it. It kinda feels like it's bogging down. Anybody else have this experience? Is it a function of the automatic tranny, or do I need to get the tuning checked?

Thanks so much.

A CAI along with a TCM and ECM tune will take care of a lot of that.
