Magna Charger Announces New Intercooled Cadillac

Magnuson Products, manufacturer of superchargers and supercharger systems for foreign and domestic vehicles, is pleased to announce the availability of the newly designed, intercooled supercharger system for the 5.7L LS6, V-8 powered Cadillac CTS-V. CARB has granted EO #488-6 for emissions compliance 2004(2005 pending). Intercooled kits are available in silver powder coat and polished finishes.

This all-new Intercooled supercharger system utilizes the inlet forward, Magna Charger MP112 supercharger with internal bypass internal bypass valve. Torque and horsepower output is improved from 1500 rpm to 6000 rpm, giving more “power under the curve” than any other supercharger system available, horsepower increases of 140 and torque increases of equal amounts have been verified on chassis dynamometers.

Intercooled CTS-V supercharger systems are complete with all components necessary for installation. Included in the kit is the cast aluminum intake manifold and all necessary hardware to complete the entire installation. Other components in the system include new fuel injectors and extruded aluminum fuel rails, coolant circulation pump, intercooler core and heat exchanger. Factory “push lock connectors” are utilized in the fuel system for ease of installation.

The included computer programmer communicates with the factory ECU or proper calibration of the supercharger system, and emissions compliance. Optional extended power train warranty is available for customer piece of mind.

Price seems very reasonable for a great power gain, $5995 for a 140rwhp/140rwtq gain.

Hrmm.. So far, everyone that I've talked to has had diff problems caused only by wheelhop. I'm curious to see what percentage of diff failures are directly related to wheelhop, and how many are related to actual 'launch' shock/torque.

I have ordered my system and it will be in no longer than two weeks. I will have it dyno tested and will post pics and opinions when it is installed. I am going to purchase the warranty for 200 bucks whichs backs everything. till then......

Awesome, cant wait to see it. What does the extended warranty actually cover? Failure of the blower unit itself, and thats all?

The extended warranty covers the entire power train just like the original factory warranty.

Wow... I'm thinking the warranty only covers the supercharger. But you can buy a warranty from Magnuson, that if you run this product and your do not modify the kit, your engine goes, the warranty that? That is really awesome.
