Supercharged CTS V-Series

Anyone know if the supercharger from the STS V Northstar will fit on the CTS V? Probably not due to intake manifold size differences...but thought I'd ask. If so...it should put the car past the 500 mark for both HP and TQ.

I would expect that the supercharger will not fit without some custom fabrication (brackets & air piping). I havn't seen final pics of the engine compartment or a STS-V in person though.

No. You are talking about two totally different engine setups. The cts-v uses the same engine as the 02-04 z06's and 05 gto. Where as the sts uses the 4.4 liter northstar. I would venture to guess however, that the gto or possibly the corvette supercharger kits would work on a cts-v. Just my .02

Magnuson makes a kit specifically for the "V".

It works very well!

They're all LSx motors though. Whether they're a 5.7L LS1 or LS6, or a 6.0L LS2, they're all the same architecture. This as well as the cast iron Vortec truck derivatives. They're all the same. The only real difference is displacement.

You wouldn't believe this, but the LS2 motor uses LS6 heads!

Why go with that type of setup , when you can buy the correct supercharger kit for your specific application right here:

I went with the "Magi" and I love it. It made 437RWHP with the Magi and the Corsa. Stock like driveability with more power.
