XLR-V Brakes

I was just curious if anyone else noticed that the XLR-V won't feature the same Brembo brakes that the STS-V and CTS-V have. The following is from the Cadillac site:

Brakes
Heavy duty, high-performance brake linings, dual piston front calipers and single-piston rear calipers.

They don't have a direct on picture of the wheel/brakes on the Cadillac site but from what I can see behind the wheel, the XLR-V has similar brakes to the standard Corvette (non Z06). I'm suprised that with such a premium attached to the XLR-V GM isn't putting the same V branded Brembo brakes on the XLR-V.

I'm actually suprised I didn't notice this before, the brakes are clearly visible in the pictures I posted in this news article:

Wow, it's all week? I'll mark it on my calendar, would it be better to come the first weekend or the 2nd? You have a friend picking up a XLR-V about the same time, right?

Hi,
the last two days we will be in Carlsbad NM and the farewell party is over there.
My friend who lives in CA got his XLR V in february but he still have is 04 XLR too - so we might come with both. If not with both cars we`ll come with the Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
