Rear door locks on CTS-V sedan

Hi. I'm a new owner of a 2012 CTS-V sedan. I've got my locks programmed to auto-lock when I reach the designated speed (8 mph?). My problem is that, when I stop the car and put it in park, only the front doors unlock (I have to manually unlock the rear doors). What am I doing wrong?

A related issue is that, when my car is parked in the garage, I want the doors and trunk to remain unlocked; however, I can't figure out how to get the trunk to be unlocked. If I go into the garage "without" my car key/fob, it won't let me open the trunk (but it will let me open all four doors). So I end up having to open the driver's door and push the trunk release button. What am I doing wrong? I know what I'm asking for is possible since I was able to open all four doors AND the trunk without my key when I had it parked in the trunk on the first day I owned the car.

Thanks to whoever can help.
