Unhappy Supplier Constraint

On 05-July I placed an order, at Shirey Cadillac, for a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. Dealer stated the vehicle should be delivered in 6-8 weeks. On 24-August, I assked the dealer for a delivery status. He stated that the vehicle had a production code of "1100", however, it was being delayed due to "supplier constraint". Dealer was unable to elaborate on the particulars of this "constraint".

Can anyone shed some light as to why this delay is taking place? Currently, CTS-V coupes are at several dealerships.

I ordered Raven Black, Titanium interior, Recaro seats.

By the way, dealer states that vehicle should be delivered in another 4 weeks!
