New to the CTS-V world
Like the title says, I am new to the CTS-V world and am looking at purchasing one within the next month or so.. Where would be a good place to start looking for one. I am looking for 06-08 and have tried autotrader, and local car dealers but am not having any luck.

any help is appreciated.

There are plenty of CTS-V's on autotrader. That is where I found mine. I had to travel to get it, but it was well worth the travel! Ebay is another good source. They can even have it delivered to you. A lot of reputable dealerships sell their cars on ebay and have it shipped to the buyer. Hope this helps.
