That would be the skip shift eliminator. Everyone sells those things. I put one on my Z28 becuase it was really annoying. For some reason I don't seem to mind it that much on the CTS-V. I doesn't do it that much, or maybe it is just my driving...

Stealth V sells a nice weather proof !CAGS. I believe it is around $50. If you don't want to spend that much, you can always make your own. Do a search on google for !CAGS or CAGS Eliminator and you will come up with several how to documents.

i had 95 TA and a buddy of mine got a resistor from radio shack for 5 cents and that solved my skip shift. dont know about the V though. i would assume its the same.
