Just got a '05 CTS-V
Lookin for help on performance, I have about a $3,000-$4,000 budget. What will be the most effective route to gain more power and still have everyday driver reliability? Sorry if this question is redundent, not really a car tech guy, but love this car and want to get more out of it. I have gone to the track twice and cannot get below a 14.1, this could be my lack of good driving(i.e. launching, good shifts) 60' is at 2.1 right now. Just want to smoke GTO, SRT and feel good. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

I've done heads, cam, and full exhaust. Honestly, if I could go back and do it all over I would have gone with either a pro charger or magnacharger.

They got magnachargers on ebay for 5500 plus shipping. Thats the lowest price i've seen them for new. I'm about to take mine to Quality Motorsports in Lewisville, TX to get headers and cam installed. Trying to stay NA.
