I friend of mine works at a dealership that has a '97 Deville just like the one pictured above. I'm thinking about picking this up as a (for lack of a better term) beater car. Something that I can put some mileage on, drive in bad weather and not care where I park but it still looks good and gives a confortable ride. Has anyone owned one of these and if so how did you like it?

Same here... which is, Cadillacs never interested me until they started coming out with high performance models. The V Series is what interests me :)
