I just wanted to plug an amazing Corvette mechanic. When I picked up my '05 V I really was nto sure where to start the mods. I hooked up with Chuck from Corvette's Of Westchester as he had been a huge help with my vette. He immediately told me of the major success he has had tuning most GM vehicles with a program he purchased. He has been able to get some serious power out of the car bone stock for less what it would cost to change the exhaust. I gave him my brand new V with probably 400 miles on it at the time. All I can say is within a few minutes of waiting with him as he played with some of the options, the car was completely different! The factory tuned the car so far down that when I got behind the wheel it was an incredible difference. Recently he has upgraded to a different software package and has tweaked the V even further. I added a borla exhaust and an intake but neither coems close to the bang per buck he gave me with the computer tune. I highly recomend anyone that can make a drive to Westchester County to call him. He is called the Corvette Doctor and he will show you how he got that name! Don't waste allot of money adding parts to the car until you get the software enhanced first! It will give you a huge edge! Corvette's of Westchester Chuck 914-332-0048 or 0049!

I have a lot of speculation about Chuck CoW... it's my opinion that he ripped a lot of people off on Corvette Forum over column lock bypasses. He was charging and claiming without any proof that he was the expert over there. He avoided questions, called names, and over charged for this simple install.

The man blatently said people installing their own Column Lock Bypasses didn't know how their cars worked or understand the problem. He charged 3 times the ammount the CLB costs ($50) to install it and it's a simple wire harness. He claimed GM recalls had to be undone but did not provide any answers as to why or what exactly about them required undoing. He also claimed that the cars BCM (BODY control module) as well as PCM (power control module) had to be modified for the column lock bypass to work. This is a lie.

I would NOT let this man touch my car, ever. Buyer beware.

Where is Westchester?

It's in either PA or NY. You can find this guy by doing a search on google under Corvettes of Westchester. Please, be careful if you use him. I strongly feel he is a rip off and could potentially damage your car with careless programming.

I was just curious. I would most likely go with StealthV for a tune anyways.

The CAGS rocks btw :)

2 weeks ago I had my 2006 CTS-V tuned. I was in total disbelief of the increase in HP, TQ and drivability.
UNBELIEVABLE. 50HP increase in mid range 3800 rpm to 5600 rpm. Tq 393 at 3800.
