I have Corsa Indy's on my Corvette that has been measured at 102 db during throttle blips. So I'm not opposed to loud, but I think I will go with an X-Pipe for that more refined note, I do not have one on the Vette and it is raspy and mean when I get her out on the track under WOT with no resonance at cruise.
So Guys, tell me what you have and your thoughts about it.
I noticed that Premier Truck Accessories (http://www.premiertruckaccessories.com/mfctsv.html) (a forum Vendor) has a Magnaflow system for $720. Anyone have this setup? I've seen a few Billy Boat's on V's, what about this setup?

I havn't done an exhaust to the CTS-V however on the Vette I have Borla Stingers with LG Pro Longtubes (off-road version). The Corvette is NASCAR loud under WOT; I love the sound. On the CTS-V though, I think I prefer it stay quiet.
Maybe some vendors could post sound clips of the different exhaust setups they are offering.

I agree, I want freer flowing exhaust but I would prefer to stay on the tame side. NASCAR loud, that isn't even street legal, bet it sounds great. I drove a Southwest Tour NASCAR on the California Speedway for a day, and it took a week for all my hearing to return.

Some interesting videos on the Drift-Caddy (R.I.P) Headers and straight pipes. Should break the 100db level.
