So I'm trying to deal with the damn shifter clunking as it is, but I also notice what sounds like a heat shield vibrating when driving/shiftinig under low load. While tapping around to see what I could find, I noticed the entire front fascia rattles if you just tap it. Nothing seems to be tight, not the grille, nothing - is this perhaps because it's all made to break away on impact?
There just seems to be too many unwelcome noises coming from the engine - not soothing performance sounding low burbbling, more like loose items or something. I can't even drive with the radio low becasue it pisses me right off!
Also, anyone finding the tire pressure sesnors to be about 4-5 psi light?
Sheesh, also, the paint is great but damn, if you look at it wrong it seems to leave a mark.

I have noticed the tire pressure sensors being 3-5 psi off. They are off in both my V and my C5. I'm not sure why but I don't remember the Corvettes sensors being off by this much in the past. I would expect 1-2 psi but not 3-5. I'm going to mention this to the dealer when I take it in next.
Have you spoken to a dealer concerning the facia and other pieces bing seemingly loose? I can't recall my pieces being lose. I do notice quite a bit of drive train clunk when disengaging the clutch, I assume this is normal for the V (unwelcome but normal none the less). I am taking the car to the dealer as soon as the bushings for the wheel hop TSB come in. I am still considering the BMR pieces to reduce the clunking but probably won't get around to ordering/installing them until after the anti-wheel hop bushings are installed.

Thanks for the reply Torch. If you ever feel like it, just tap the grille area - and see if yours rattles - I'd like to know - there are many fairly loose plastic inserts that seem to hold most of it together - I can move them all by hand.

I will check this evening when I get home from work. I drove the Corvette in today. :)

There isn't anything loose in my front end. Hopefully the dealer can take care of your issue for you, please let me know what they say about this. If you lived closer to Lund Cadillac I know they would treat you right & I'd send you there.

Hey thanks for checking Torch.....You mean you can tap on the grille area, or the front bumper with your knuckles and not get any rattles/vibration? On mine, the whole steel mesh rattles if I tap it or the bumper - same with the lower mesh grille.
Damn, I had talked myself into thinking it's normal.

I will check again just to be sure I'm doing what you're talking about. This morning before I left for work I grabbed the grill and tried wiggling it, it didn't move at all so I assumed nothing was loose. I'll trying giving it a tap with my knuckle and see what I hear.
