Bert 06-24-2005, 11:58 AM Allright, so I tried to take the headrests out on the Escalade & the V - maybe I'm retarted :eek: but I couldn't get either car's headrest off... I'll try again, but I will tell you this - The posts look like they are the same and may fit into the V seat, but the front seat headrest of the Sclade is WAY BIGGER than the V's it would probably look silly. ANd the rear seat rest is smaller than the V's front seat - so..... I'd say keep looking for an aftermarket part - Also the Escalade interior only comes in grey and tan - I have tan - and the grey is rare... I would be seriously suprised if the stock head unit had outputs to drive extra monitors. Does anyone have the factory service manuals handy? The wiring diagrams in the manuals would provide more insight into running extra screens off the factory HU. kaipo 07-05-2005, 09:42 AM i have a friend with a regular cts and he told me that the headrests come with the cadillac logo embroydered in them! im really surprised cadillac didnt do that for the cts-v. but i guess that means you can probably order them from gm parts direct and replace them. torchredfrc 07-05-2005, 09:52 AM I just gave a Chevrolet dealer I get good deals on parts through and their parts guy was unable to find any mention of the standard CTS headrest covers having embroadering on them. If I can get a VIN number for a standard CTS that has the embroadery on the headrest, I can probably get a good price on the covers from him. I'm going to do some more research and I'll post when I have results. torchredfrc 07-05-2005, 10:01 AM Ok, looks like Lund Cadillac can have the embroadering done but it is in fact not a feature of the CTS or a GM accessory that is available through the dealer. Give Denny a call at Lund Cadillac if you are interested in sending your head rests off to have this done. I think it would be really cool to have a set made with the V logo on them instead of the Cadillac emblem.
