: Options that will make CTS-V even MORE appealing

I was recently able to drive the current CTS-V and loved every single second of the experience. The only downside to the existing model is the interior. I am planning on waiting until the 2007 model redesign to make my purchase decision and have a list of wants that would make this car much more appealing:

1. Bluetooth for hands free cell phone operation
2. Upgraded audio system with DVD-A capabilities (5.1)
3. Different seats (I do not like the suede)
4. More refined interior materials
5. Upgraded sunroof controls (get rid of that dial)

Granted these are minor things, but I think that overall it would make the CTS-V a world beater!

I REALLY enjoyed the experience and look forward to Cadillac's future updates to this model. This is coming from someone who has NEVER considered an American car!!

Bluetooth is a no-brainer. I wonder if OnStar will make that impossible.

Overall, I think just refining the feel and look would help a lot. The turn signal for instance. It just sounds cheap. The levers could have a more refined feel to them as well. I expect MP3 would be popular also. Push-button start and race-type flip switches instead of buttons?

On the look, the brushed aluminium doesn't look racy, it looks like plastic. There's far too much dash board out there, maybe break it up with some carbon fibre inserts or something. Hey, would it kill them to have some storage in that huge space?

Just my $0.02 worth!

Items forgotten in the first post:

Heads up display (either std or optional).
Fixing the wheel hop
Making the LS7 an option :)
MP3 capabilities are a great addition as well (either direct from CD/DVD or a direct ipod integration port).

I'd like to see MP3 capabilities, and a fix for the wheel hop issue. That'd bring the car close to damn near perfect.

Heads up display (either std or optional). I vote for standard! Would love to see it, as I have it in our other carand you sure get used to it! :)

Hi... My First Post
Love my V but there are a few things I would like to see improved.
Wheel hop of course, and everything else listed above.

Most important to me would be tighter stearing. Maybe 2 turns from lock to lock not 3.5 turns. Everything else can be done after market.

Remember the more reforms and upgrades, the higher the sticker price

Are these sure things? Also what do u think will be msrp on a LS7 CTS V for 07?

Do you think they would do a supercharged LS2?

Thanks, Andy

A HUD would definitely be number 1 on my list.

I like the touch button ignition myself. Like the one on the CIEN. Anyone see the movie "The Island"?? Yeah I know it sucked but at least the car was cool. :p

A wider wheel is the only option I wanted.
