Who has installed the CAGS eliminator on the CTS-V?
After installation I have heard that in general the shifting from 1st to 2nd is smoother then before. Can anyone confirm this?
I have not installed the CAGS Elim. yet and I do feel that the 1st to 2nd shift is not very smooth. Anyone have comments?

I will be installing one. Most of the time it is not a problem, but occasionally I get an unwanted surprise in my shifting. It would just be better without it. :)

I've had mine in for some time how. Works as advertised. No difference shifting from first to second.

Hi Guys,
I had the CAGS Eliminator installed a week ago. Works great, snapped right in.
The 1<4 indicator light will still come in the right hand dash display, but it has no effect.

I've had mine now for a few days....love it.....during "normal" acceleration, the shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd is natural and easy

I just got one, but hopefully wont need it now that I _should_ have a solution for the HPTuners software not working on my V.

The CAGS works great. Easy to install, easy to uninstall. Will work with the HPTuners solution if you don't want to bother with uninstalling it. Once uninstalled, nothing has be be reflashed.
