3 DAYS AGO I GOT A RESPONCE FROM GM CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGER ABOUT AN E-MAIL THAT I SENT TO THEM ABOUT THE WHEEL HOP ISSUE THAT ALL OF US ARE HAVING.THEY SAID TO ME THAT THEY WHERE NOT AWARE OF A WHEEL HOP OR REAR END PROBLEM WITH THE V. :eek: AS TO WHAT I REPLYED WAS FOR THEM TO CHECK THE CADILLAC OWNERS WEB PAGE AND THEY WOULD SEE THIS ISSUE.THEY ALSO NEW ABOUT THE BUSHING REPLACEMENT BUT WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS SOLVING THE REAR END ISSUE AND I REPLYED I THOUGHT YOU SAID THAT GM WAS NOT AWARE OF ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE V'S REAR END. :mad: ANY HOW THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE GOING TO START A FILE ON THIS WHEEL HOP ISSUE AND PASS IT ALONG TO THE CORRECT DEPT. SO FELLOW V OWNERS HERE'S THERE E-MAIL AND PHONE NUMBER. [email]assist@cadillac.com,1866-932-4368 .PLEASE SEND THEM AND E-MAIL CONCERNING THE WHEEL HOP SO THEY CAN SEE THAT THIS IS A CONCERN ABOUT THE V'S REAR END. BECAUSE THE MORE ANOYD WE GET THEM THE FAST THEY WILL FOWARED IT TO THE RIGHT DEPT.

I've been thinking about starting a thread on here to document the failures and the background information surrounding the failures.

ie. how many rears have you broken
was the car experiencing wheel hop when the diff broke

etc.

It would be useful to get documentation like this ourselves, so we know the true numbers and the real cause. This would make our case much easier when we go to Cadillac with it.

Do you think this is something worth while? If so, I will need help spreading the word to other V Owners.

YES MY REAR BROKE WHILE DOING A WHEEL HOP AND I ALSO INFORMED CADILLAC OWNERS WEB AND LS1TECH, THERE'S A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME WHEEL HOP ISSUE ALREADY POSTED. :cool:
